Internet Safety In-Person
This is a one-time presentation for students in 6th through 12th grade focusing on what it means to be a responsible “digital citizen.” The program is designed to help young people to understand that certain types of communication (strong language, hurtful messages, or inappropriate pictures of themselves or others) can have long-lasting consequences, ranging from social impacts, to school disciplinary action, to criminal charges. This program is presented in collaboration with the Onondaga County District Attorney’s Office.
This is a great way for Homeschool families to work towards their Library Skills portion of the state regulation requirements!
Free. Registration required.
