Landscape Paintings by Michael Field

Michael Field, a self-described Romantic Landscape Painter, has been painting landscapes and portraits for over 20 years after leaving the world of business for the world of art. An art teacher for the City of Syracuse School District for 21 years, Michael has also served as Vice-President and then President of the CNY Scholastic Art Show. His aim as a landscape painter, working in oils, is to record nature as it is, but to add emotion and expression without taking away accuracy in painting nature.
